The Arrecife Youth Center became a meeting point for football fans with the visit of Alfredo Duro and Cristóbal Soria, panelists of the popular television program El Chiringuito de Jugones. During the talk, both stressed that “violence and insults have no place on football fields”, in the words of Alfredo Duro, who stressed that you can passionately defend the colors of a team without resorting to aggression.
The event was marked by closeness and humor. Attendees asked multiple questions, with the Ballon d'Or being the most recurring topic, to which Duro and Soria responded with knowledge but also with much irony, making the evening pass in a pleasant and fun way.
The event ended with the draw of ten official Real Madrid and FC Barcelona shirts. The mayor of Arrecife, Yonathan de León, accompanied by the Councilor for Tourism and Sports, Eli Merino, were in charge of announcing the winning numbers, putting the finishing touch to a day in which football and fans came together in a festive atmosphere.
The organization was carried out by Radio Lanzarote, with the sponsorship of the Tourism and Sports departments of the Arrecife City Council and the Tourist Centers, whose support made possible an evening that combined sports, entertainment and coexistence.
