SPL Puerto del Carmen Tiñosa achieved a new victory this Sunday at the Municipal Sports Center of Morro Jable (Fuerteventura) against 3COM Squad Valsequillo (49-26) in a match corresponding to the final of the Women's Cadet Territorial Phase, a result with which they have been proclaimed champions of the Canary Islands and have obtained the pass to the national sector phase.

In the previous days, the Tiñoseras have counted their matches as victories, rising, undefeated in the phase developed in Fuerteventura, with the autonomous title.

The aurinegras won in the first phase against "Todo en Hormigon" Gáldar BF and Balonmano Rocasa "A". In the semi-final crossing they prevailed over the hosts of Bm. Morro Jable V.C. before surpassing the Gran Canaria team of 3com Squad Valsequillo in the grand final.

As happened in the recent Youth autonomous phase, the Lanzarote team occupies the first drawer of the podium, followed by the runners-up and also with a passport to the national sector phase, the 3com Squad Valsequillo.

Alba Zalazar from Gran Canaria became the top scorer of the final while the Tiñoseras Martha Padrón and Amelia Gabaldón scored seven goals each to win in a final with a very choral score from the aurinegras as up to thirteen players managed to score.

The team has been led by Miguel Ángel Rodríguez Santana, accompanied in the technical direction of the champions by the technicians Miguel Ángel Lemes and Antonio Gabaldón. The president of the Canary Islands Handball Federation, Blas Parrilla, along with other representatives of the Majorera institutions, attended the medal ceremony.
