The children's, cadet and youth teams of the Canary Islands, both in the male and female categories, are on their way to Catalonia, where a new edition of the Spanish Championship of Autonomous Community Handball Teams begins on Friday. The CESA takes place from January 3 to 8 in eight locations in Catalonia, and Club Balonmano San José Obrero will be widely represented in this first national event of the year. Seven players from the Titerroy club will be present at the CESA Handball.
Over the past few weeks, several concentrations have been taking place, with the different Canary Island teams working towards the Spanish Championship of Autonomous Community Handball Teams. Concentrations in which CB San José Obrero has been widely represented, with 7 players finally being selected to represent the Canary Islands in the different categories.
In the children's category, Ainara Martín Ramos, Hugo Tavío Ascensión and Marco Fajardo Camejo have been selected. Rolando José Pino Tamayo is participating again in the Spanish Championship of Autonomous Community Teams, included this time in the men's cadet team. And the participation of players from San José Obrero is completed with the presence of Yamal Nasri González, Pedro Santiago Noda Sánchez and Daniel Martín Ramos, who are part of the men's youth team.
The women's children's team is the only one that starts the competition in the Spanish Championship, the highest category, and will face Galicia, Castilla La Mancha and Andalusia in the group stage. The rest of the teams start from the beginning from the Spanish Cup, the second division of the competition.
CB San José Obrero wants to wish the seven players selected to play in the CESA Handball the best of luck. Once again, the base of CB San José Obrero will be widely represented in one of the most important competitions in Spanish youth handball.
