UD Lanzarote's preseason training will begin next Monday, with just over a month to prepare for the start of the competition in the Canary Islands group of the Third Division RFEF. Mateo García will be in charge of leading the sports project from the bench, and the coach from Salamanca has surrounded himself with a large group of people who make up the first team's coaching staff.
The main novelty for the new season is the incorporation of Sergio Hernández into the technical structure, performing the function of second coach. He arrived last season at the rojillo club to be the coordinator of the football-11 section of UD Lanzarote and to carry out the work of "scouting" in the first team.
Sergio Hernández has been a coach in the lower categories of Inter Playa Honda, Atlético Tiense, Puerto del Carmen and San Bartolomé CF, even performing the function of second coach of the batatero team in the First Regional of Lanzarote.
Another novelty of the coaching staff is the arrival of Pedro García, being in charge of the goalkeepers' training, a task that he will perform both in the first team and in the subsidiary. Aythami Rodríguez will be in charge of physical preparation, Raúl Medina will be the physiotherapist and Gabriel Acosta will perform the recovery work.
Miguel Ángel Guadalupe will continue to perform the function of team delegate in UD Lanzarote and the next will be the second season in the rojillo club. The coaching staff is completed with Juan Jesús Rodríguez and Clemente García as equipment managers, and Clemente will also continue to perform the work of field delegate in the matches that the team plays as local.
The first training session of the preseason of UD Lanzarote is scheduled for next Monday at 20:15 hours and it will take place at the facilities of the Lanzarote Sports City.
