CB San José Obrero Lanzarote continues with a firm step in the Men's First National League and last Saturday added an important victory in the first derby of the season. The team from the Titerroy neighborhood dominated the match against Balonmano Ingenio from start to finish, reaching a maximum difference of twelve goals in the second half and ending up winning by a clear 30 to 39.
The match began with the dominance of CB San José Obrero, developing a fast game on the court and with a very solid 6:0 defense. The partial in the first five minutes was 1 to 5 in favor of the Lanzarote team with goals from Mikita Livanou (2), Diego Fernández, Óscar Silva and Carmelo Álvarez, causing the first timeout of the Balonmano Ingenio coach.
The Gran Canaria team reacted timidly, reducing the difference to two goals, but a counterattack culminated by Carmelo Álvarez raised the difference to three goals again (4-7). Carlos Herrera, coach of Balonmano Ingenio, only took eleven minutes to request his second timeout.

In the first five minutes, Rafa Robayna from the right wing increased the advantage to ten goals and Óscar Silva penetrating put the 15 to 26 on the scoreboard.
Balonmano Ingenio moved its defense forward during this second half, playing for several phases with a 3:3. Miguel Laguna and Carmelo Álvarez were in charge of establishing the maximum difference of the match, reaching a rent of twelve goals (20-32), and which they knew how to manage perfectly until the end of the match.
