San Bartolomé CF achieved an important draw (3-3) in their visit to Villa de Santa Brígida in a match marked by intensity, alternatives on the scoreboard and adverse weather conditions, with wind and constant rain throughout the match.

The match began with both teams showing ambition and generating arrivals to the rival area. The local team took the lead with a header from Santi “Chicha” after a cross from the side, beating goalkeeper Abián, who was defending the goal in place of the sanctioned Agoney. Despite the blow, San Bartolomé was quick to react and took control of the game, achieving the tie after an unfortunate error by the local goalkeeper, who failed to stop a header from Jony at the far post.

When it seemed that the match would reach halftime with equality, a defensive failure by the 'batatero' team allowed Camacho, inside the area, to take advantage of a loose ball to advance Villa de Santa Brígida again, establishing 2-1 at the edge of halftime.

In the second half, San Bartolomé came out determined to reverse the situation and found reward in a brilliant action by Álex Yunes. The forward received a through pass from Judicael, controlled with quality and defined with precision to sign the 2-2, adding his fourth goal in the last three matches. However, the coach of the local team reacted with several offensive changes that had an immediate effect, managing to get ahead again on the scoreboard with a new header after a cross from the wing.

Far from giving up, the 'batatero' team maintained its dominance in the game and, in the 88th minute, achieved the definitive tie with an accurate low shot from the edge of the area by Kevin, who adjusted the ball to the post to establish the final 3-3. In stoppage time, San Bartolomé had a clear opportunity to take the victory, but the play could not be completed after the intervention of the local defense.

With this draw, San Bartolomé CF continues to add in the fight for permanence, in which up to nine teams are immersed in a fierce fight to avoid relegation. Next Saturday, the Lanzarote team will face another direct duel in the fight for salvation, visiting CD Herbania in Fuerteventura. For this match, the club has organized a trip for the fans, for which they can still sign up in the afternoon at the club office.
