The end of the season is approaching for UD Lanzarote and with it come the farewells. Next Sunday's match against CD Santa Úrsula will be the last for the rojillo team as locals at the Ciudad Deportiva Lanzarote and will mark the farewell of striker Rosmen Quevedo. The captain of UD Lanzarote will hang up his boots at the end of the season and on Sunday he will officially say goodbye to the fans who have supported him for a large part of his sporting career.
He made his debut with the first team of UD Lanzarote in the 1996/1997 season when he was still a youth category footballer, and has been a player for the rojillo team for the last twelve seasons consecutively. An emblem of the most recent history of UD Lanzarote and who has been able to perfectly represent the values of the entity on and off the field.
Next Sunday he will play his last match as a footballer at the Ciudad Deportiva Lanzarote, that stadium in which he has starred in so many joys with his goals and above all with his dedication on the field. It will be Rosmen's farewell to his fans and at the end of the match the club will hold a small act of recognition for the captain's career as a player of UD Lanzarote.
The sale of tickets for the match against CD Santa Úrsula continues and they can be purchased this Thursday at the club's headquarters until 12:00 hours and in the afternoon from 18:00 to 20:00 hours. Tickets will also be available tomorrow Friday from 08:00 to 12:00 hours, and on Sunday morning a limited number of tickets will be put on sale at the access door to the Ciudad Deportiva Lanzarote.
It will be a very special day for Rosmen and for UD Lanzarote, and it is hoped that the fans will be in the stands to say goodbye to the eternal rojillo captain as he deserves. The match against CD Santa Úrsula will begin at 12:00 hours.
