This weekend the II Rallysprint Yaiza will take place, and due to this there will be a road closure in the south of the island.
The Las Casitas - Femés - Maciot - Las Breñas route will be closed to traffic this Friday from 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., while on Saturday, August 27, the closure is scheduled from 8:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The organization provides residents with the contact number (620 109 060) for unforeseen events or possible incidents, with that half hour between 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. for "any unavoidable displacement of residents in the area of the section."
The event is promoted by the Yaiza City Council and organized by CD. Evesport, with the support of the Lanzarote Council, the Inter-Island Automobile Federation of Las Palmas and the Canary Islands Automobile Federation.
The organization reminds that the list of registered participants has a total of 46 teams, which from the early hours of the afternoon must pass the technical verifications of their competition vehicles.
