Orientación Marítima has officially announced to the media the signing of its second new winter signing. Miguel Fernández Jiménez, the new forward that coach Juan Antonio Machín will have, has already put on the red shirt of the Destila team and could even debut in the derby against UD Lanzarote, which will be played next Sunday at 5 p.m. Canary time.
Miguel, who had offers from other teams, decided to join Orientación Marítima on Friday afternoon, stating that "he was attracted to the project because he knew the Club, knew of the seriousness of the entity and because of the sports promotion that playing in 2ªB implies." He has been signed until the end of the season and comes from playing for Manchego CF, a team that belongs to the XVIII of the third division.
The player was presented around noon to the media in the club's trophy room, put on the shirt, touched the ball and is now under the orders of coach Machín for team training.
Miguel is 23 years old, was born in Madrid on June 2, 1983, is 1.79 cm tall, weighs 72 kg and has experience in Canary teams, specifically in C.D. Mensajero and S.D. Tenisca, last season, where he scored 11 goals and this season he had 3 goals.
His record in clubs in the third division goes from Móstoles, CD Mensajero, Rayo Majadahonda, Tenisca and the last one has been Manchego CF.
