Magec Tías "Against Gender Violence" returned to winning ways by defeating Vega Lagunera Adareva 73-85, in a match where equality was notorious throughout practically the entire match, tilting in favor of the Lanzarote team in the second half.
The team coached by Jesús García was able to count on Yaiza García for this match, who was not usually traveling to away games, her participation in the match being an important factor in making the team from the island of volcanoes even more competitive.
In the first quarter, Alba Peña's scoring facet stood out for the local team, while for the visiting team, Imani Robinson's three-pointers and Romina Rodríguez's distribution of the game gave them the strength to remain in the fight, adding to that work a three-pointer from Carolina Mateo and another from Eli Dabou that helped close the score with 23 to 22 in favor of the locals.
The dynamic in the second quarter for the Lanzarote team was very similar in terms of attack, while in defense the red and black team was much more intense, managing to turn the score around before reaching halftime. It is the eleventh victory for the Lanzarote team this season, pending the closing of the 2021/2022 campaign next weekend in Tías, receiving the Malaga team of Alhaurín de la Torre. The match will be played from 8:00 p.m. and with which the end point will be put to another season of the team in Women's League 2, achieving in a solvent way the objective that had been set at the beginning of the season.
