The season for Magec Tías "Against Gender Violence" has concluded, and it did so with a new victory, the twelfth of the campaign, defeating Asisa Alhaurín de la Torre at home in a match where the locals were always ahead on the scoreboard.

The match was full of emotion, with many home players having opportunities to enjoy it, as a sign of gratitude from the coaching staff for the work done throughout the campaign, helping to make quality training possible to compete in the category.

That confidence was answered with good basketball from the players who have had the fewest minutes throughout the season, who were cheered from the stands in each of those actions in which they intervened.

The local team soon took the lead, gaining a 14-point advantage at the end of the first quarter. The Lanzarote team dominated the match without problems, signing a partial score of 24 to 10 in the first 10 minutes of play.

Although the difference was soon extended, the Malaga team, which also made continuous rotations in its game, began to feel comfortable on the court and managed to stop the strong start that the local team had had. At halftime, the scoreboard reflected a victory for those from Tías by 34 to 21, highlighting, until that moment, the role of Yaiza García and Carolina Mateo for the Lanzarote team, who seemed to show the way to the new generations.

After the break, the locals extended their lead on the scoreboard, especially after a partial score of 13 to 0. The visiting coach stopped the match with a timeout to try to redirect the situation when Magec Tías was winning by 23 points difference. He managed to make up the electronic score and reduce that advantage, which already seemed insurmountable, from 51 to 33. At this point in the match, the pavilion roared with each shot to the basket by Daniela Álvarez, celebrated Elena Lozano's triple as if it were a title, celebrated Nereida Bermúdez's fight and rebound, applauded Laura Gomes' work and thanked Emilie D'Eternod for her help, a player who arrived with the agreement with NABA and who has grown a lot during her stay on the island.

The festive atmosphere that was experienced in the venue, on the one hand, and the pride of Asisa Alhaurín de la Torre for finishing their participation in the category with pride, led to the relaxation of some and the growth of others, beginning to drastically reduce the difference the Malaga team. The organizational work of Paula Moreno and the triples of Ana Moyano began to do a lot of damage to the island team that was living its particular end-of-season party. Despite the reduction in the score, the team trained by Jesús García and Mauri Rozas seemed to have the match under control, finally achieving victory by 64 to 57.

At the end of the match came the bittersweet moment. The celebration for the role played by the youth players was mixed with the gratitude of the Women's League 2 squad with the two boys who have acted as "mops" throughout the campaign. On the other hand, the tears of the foreign players who will return to their places of origin in these days appeared.

Now it's time to rest, because they have earned it after a season where, thanks to their work, effort, passion and commitment, they have not only managed to save the category, but have also managed to add the highest number of victories of the club in a season in the Women's League 2.
