The Lanzarote native César Arroyo managed to proclaim himself national obedience champion with his dog Gin in the competition held on November 6 in the municipality of Aloyera, Guadalajara. In addition, he also achieved second place with his other dog participating in the test, Brooke. In this way, the conejero guide who currently resides in Madrid became the first person within the discipline to participate with two canines and obtain the top two positions in the tournament.

The obedience competition consists of getting the dog to develop together with its guide (in this discipline, the union between the two is called a binomial) a series of exercises in understanding and complicity with the greatest possible precision. In said instruction, there are various levels of difficulty, in this case, Arroyo won in the highest level, class 3.

In the event held last Sunday, up to 21 binomials participated, thus registering the highest participation to date.

With this victory, César Arroyo further expands his incredible career, this being his third Copa de España after those achieved in the years 2016 and 2019, in addition to having participated uninterruptedly in all the World Cups held annually since 2017.
