Lanzarote hosted the second charity paddle tennis tournament against gender violence, which was held between July 24 and August 4, at the Pádel Center Las Naves, in Arrecife. In this championship, Diego Dinoto and Felipe Castro were the winners in the first male category, while Ceci Gutiérrez and Liliam won in the female category.
This tournament was organized by the Cabildo de Lanzarote, the SyF consultancy and the Ana Bella Foundation, in collaboration with Toyota Lanzarote and Pádel Center Las Naves. With this championship, they wanted to help women affected by gender violence.
Ana Bella, a survivor and fighter against gender violence through her Foundation, traveled to the island and took advantage of her visit to carry out support days with women who are currently suffering abuse.
