The president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Oswaldo Betancort, together with the Minister of Sports, Juan Monzón, have congratulated the shooter Francisco Javier Pino López after being proclaimed Canary Islands Champion of clay pigeon shooting in 2024.
During the reception of the champion, the president of the Cabildo highlighted that "it is amazing to see the precision and skill of this athlete has shown once again why he is one of the most outstanding shooters in the archipelago. Congratulations to Pino López and all the participants for their effort and dedication in this competition.”
For his part, the Minister of Sports, Juan Monzón, said that "the exceptional performance of our athletes in the Canary Islands Clay Pigeon Shooting Championship is a reason for joy for the entire sports community of Lanzarote. Francisco Javier Pino López has demonstrated his excellence by achieving the title of Champion of the Canary Islands.”
The team of Francisco Javier Pino López, formed by Carlos González Medina and Pol Rolo, was crowned runner-up in the Canary Islands in the team competition, an achievement that highlights the commitment and joint effort.
