It's no surprise to anyone that Unión Sur Yaiza achieved a new victory away from their stadium this Sunday, the fourth in a row. The southerners have become strong in away games and their victim on this occasion was UD Realejos. The Tenerife team paid dearly for the defensive errors they committed, which the fast players of Unión Sur Yaiza took advantage of. Realejos did not offer a bad image in this match, although they lacked punch in the final meters. A punch that the Lanzarote team did have to take the three points that were at stake.
The match would begin with the dominance of UD Realejos, a team that created a lot of danger in the first minutes of the match. The first warning from the Tenerife team came in the 3rd minute, with a shot in front of goal by Samuelito, which goalkeeper Doramas was in charge of preventing from turning into a goal. Minutes later, Samuelito himself executed a free kick from the edge of the area and the ball would end up going close to the base of the goalpost.
The match was stopped for several minutes due to an injury to a UD Realejos player. In a bad fall, Samuelito hit his neck and lay on the ground. The player had to be transferred to a medical center to carry out some medical tests and rule out a more serious cervical injury.
After the first half hour of the match, Unión Sur Yaiza would begin to steer the match in their favor. A clearance from the Realejos defense was taken advantage of by Fouad to score the first goal and beat goalkeeper Aday with a powerful shot. Just four minutes later, a bad clearance from goalkeeper Aday was intercepted by Miguel Yunes, not wasting the gift to make it 0-2. With this score, the first half would come to an end.
The second half would begin in a similar way to the first. UD Realejos had several chances to open their scoring. The goal for the Tenerife team would come in the 63rd minute of the match. A good cross from Abel was finished off by Nauzet and Realejos was back in the fight for the match.
Unión Sur Yaiza did not allow UD Realejos to react, and when Víctor Platero's team was at its best on the field, Yaiza scored the third goal of the match. Antonio Yeray, with a good individual play, stood alone inside the area and with a good crossed shot put the ball into the back of the net.
In the final stretch of the match, Unión Sur Yaiza was able to increase the differences and achieve a more comfortable victory. In the 80th minute of the match, Fouad sent a shot against the post of Aday's goal. There was nothing more to highlight and with the 1-3 victory of Yaiza over Realejos, the match came to an end.
This is the fourth consecutive victory that Unión Sur Yaiza has achieved away from home, becoming a very feared team when they leave the Municipal de Yaiza. The next match for the southerners will be on Sunday starting at 12:00 against CD Laguna.
