The Minister of Housing and Urban Agenda, Isabel Rodríguez, has highlighted that the Executive “is not going to stop” until all Spaniards who need it have affordable public housing.
In this sense, she assured that the State Housing Agreement 2026-2030 that the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, puts on the table this Friday at the XVIII Conference of Presidents will be one more step to achieve this objective.
Rodríguez made these statements during the delivery of 124 public homes for affordable rent that have been co-financed by the Government of Spain and the Generalitat of Catalonia and have been developed in public-private collaboration. These homes are part of the Affordable Rental Housing Plan of the Central Executive.
“It is very difficult to reject that agreement”, Rodríguez asserted, who has asked who can be against tripling the resources allocated to housing policies, to shield that the homes that are financed with public money are protected forever and to offer all public data on housing with transparency.
