Southern Union Yaiza

Unión Sur Yaiza was defeated this Sunday at noon by the minimum against Unión Adarve, in what was the southern team's first match at the Pancho Bermúdez Municipal Stadium. The team led by Maxi Barrera was not very effective in attack, unable to overcome the defensive framework of the Madrid team and seeing how Unión Adarve took the three points that were at stake.

Unión Sur Yaiza tried to set the pace of the game from the start of the match, facing a rival that speculated from the first moment. In the first quarter of an hour, the locals had several approaches, but the visiting defense was quite secure.

Unión Adarve took the lead in the 18th minute. A good cross from Alex Blanco from the sideline was headed by Reques inside the area, with the Madrid player finishing unmarked and beating Nauzet Pérez. A goal that made the local team start to rush in each of the actions.

In the second half, Unión Sur Yaiza eagerly sought the Unión Adarve goal, having two clear chances in the first minutes. In the first, Malick shot from the edge of the area, finding a good response from the visiting goalkeeper. And in the second, a cross-shot from Ismael Traoré was repelled by Vincent.

The dominance of Unión Sur Yaiza was accentuated as the minutes passed, highlighting the chances that Fabricio and Marco Siverio had, failing to beat Vincent. A corner kick from Fabricio was cleared by the Unión Adarve defense in the goalmouth, and the match concluded with a free kick executed by Moha that crashed into the barrier.

With the score of 0 to 1, the match came to an end, with Unión Sur Yaiza suffering its third consecutive defeat, placing it in ninth position in the standings with 18 points. The southerners visit Real Madrid “C” next week.
