Cristóbal Olivero.- Last Thursday, the friendly wrestling match between Tao Cicar and Mega Centro Playa Honda was held in the Andrés Curbelo "Pollo de Tao" arena, which ended with a victory for the locals by 12 to 10, with a regular turnout of fans and good arbitration by José Pérez, who was assisted on the sidelines by Felipe Martín and Sebastián Lemes. Before the wrestling match began, the board of directors of the Tao Cicar wrestling club presented a plaque to wrestlers from this team who in the sixties made this club champion in Lanzarote.
The former honored wrestlers were: José Ramón Pérez "Pollo del Islote", Marcos Adolfo Morales Ferrer, Leandro Lemes Umpiérrez, Juan Umpiérrez Tejera, Federico Miguel Bonilla Quintero, José Luis Bonilla Quintero, Braulio Betancort Cedrés, Emilio Morales Lemes, Ramón Martín Espino, José Cabrera Morales, Francisco Javier García Pérez and posthumously a recognition was made to Gregorio Morales Ferrer.
In the friendly wrestling match, Echedey Pérez stood out for the locals, leaving Melo Martín and Maikel Umpierrez out of the fight, Miguel Ángel Betancort, who after going fight to fight left Francis García in the sand, and Jorge Quintero, who knocked down Emilio Elvira and was disqualified for three warnings in the first grab together with Carlos Moreno, a wrestler who had just brought down Miguel Ángel Betancort, José Barrios and José Luis Tabares.
Tinajo does not finish closing in senior
Despite the meeting of the teams in the Insular Federation of Lanzarote last Tuesday, which allowed Tinajo Construcciones Guadayca to participate this season in the senior category with a "B" and three insular "C"s, to date it has not given positive results for this club to obtain the services of the wrestlers from the island of Gran Canaria, the insular "B" Juan Jesús Lozano "Chucho Lozano" and the insular "C"s Suso Hernández and Toni Rodríguez Valerón. Although the directors of this club now have in their hands the signing of these wrestlers, it does not seem that this can happen in the next few days. It should be remembered that there are less than fifteen days left for this team to play its first competition wrestling match, scheduled for October 13 in the "Feluco Paz" arena in San Bartolomé.

Today, Saturday, in Vecindario on the island of Gran Canaria, the Extraordinary and Ordinary General Assembly of the Canarian Wrestling Federation is held, in the first call at 10:30 a.m. The first point is the study of the proposals presented and their modification, if applicable, to the Statute and Regulations (Technical, Disciplinary, Electoral and of the Arbitration Organization) of the FLC.
For its part, the Ordinary Assembly begins half an hour after the Extraordinary Assembly ends. This meeting foresees the following agenda: 1. Approval, if applicable, of the minutes of the previous assembly: ordinary and extraordinary of the 2004-2005 season. 2. Approval of the 2004-2005 Report. 3. Presentation and approval, if applicable, of the General Action Plan of the Canarian Wrestling Federation for the 2005-2006 season. 4. Presentation and approval, if applicable, of the Balance and Accounts of the 2004-2005 season. 5. Presentation and approval, if applicable, of the Budget for the 2005-2006 season. 6. Questions and answers.
