Moisés Olivero was the wrestler who remained standing for CL Tinajo. Olivero gave the two in a row to Destacado B David Góez. In the last grab of the night, Mario Fránquiz and Andrés Carmelo Guillén were mutually eliminated separately.
Tino Rodríguez was the top thrower in the ranks of CL Tao, contributing three points to his team. He took down Marcial Viñoly and Suso Pérez, among others. Mario Fránquiz had to put on his work overalls to knock down Francis Aisa "Piraña". The first two grabs between them ended in separates and the majorero wrestler ended up prevailing in the third.
The second day of the XXVIII Isla de Lanzarote Canarian Wrestling Tournament kicks off on Thursday night. Starting at 9:00 p.m., CL Tinajo will face CL San Bartolomé at the Terrero Municipal de Tinajo. The batateros are making their debut in the competition after the first day's fight against Playa Honda was postponed. The most attractive match of the second day will take place on Friday night. At the Luis Montero de Haría, CL Unión Norte will face CL Tao. Two teams that already faced each other during the preseason and proved to be two fairly even squads. And the day closes on Saturday night with the duel between CL Playa Honda and CL Tías.
