FC Puerto del Carmen continues to be unable to score points as a local in the Women's First National League, and on Saturday afternoon they suffered their third defeat of the season at the Tías Municipal Stadium. The players trained by Jack Talbot faced the match with several absences in the defensive line, a circumstance that was especially noticeable during the first half. CD Llamoro went into halftime with a three-goal lead and in the second half sealed the victory to win 1-4.

The beginning of the match did not foreshadow the outcome it had. FC Puerto del Carmen came out strong on the field, being the team that took the initiative and the one that approached the opponent's goal with danger. The first chance was for CD Llamoro with an individual play by Adriana that did not end with a shot. The response from the locals came with a cross from Eva Sánchez from the right side, and Kiara inside the area could not culminate her teammate's action with a goal.

CD Llamoro took the lead in the 23rd minute of the first half. The Tenerife team was able to mount a quick counterattack, Adriana received a through ball to stand alone inside the area and beat goalkeeper Naza without problems.

After the first half hour of the match, CD Llamoro increased the difference. Nobe, with a shot from the edge of the area, surpassed the stretch of goalkeeper Naza. FC Puerto del Carmen could have reduced the difference before the break, but Eira's shot, a player who had only been on the field for three minutes, from the edge of the area ended up crashing into the crossbar. The one who did not forgive was Adriana to establish 0-3 before the break, again taking advantage of a filtered pass between the lines.

FC Puerto del Carmen reduced the difference in the first minutes of the second half. Nieves received a ball inside the area and very calmly beat goalkeeper Nati. A goal that gave wings to the local players, knowing that they could get fully into the fight for the match.

That possibility lasted only six minutes, the time it took for CD Llamoro to increase the difference on the scoreboard again and practically sentence the match. Adriana was in charge of starring in the attack play, without the opposition of any defender she entered the area and with a crossed shot beat Naza. Third goal for the Tenerife player who completed her particular “hat trick” in this way.

Until the end of the match, FC Puerto del Carmen continued to try, but the difference against them was already very wide and CD Llamoro was well positioned on the field, leaving no spaces for the locals to create clear chances of danger.

With the score of 1-4, the end of the match was reached, a result that leaves FC Puerto del Carmen in eleventh position in the standings with only 3 points. In the next match, the Lanzarote team will travel to the island of La Palma to face CD Tarsa, a match scheduled for Sunday at 12:00 noon in Breña Alta.
