Five minutes into the match, the conejeras began to gain distance on the scoreboard at the Mariano Haro, advantages that would be increased as the minutes passed until the fourteen-goal difference at the end of the match.
In the scoring facet, Paloma Valenceja stood out among the locals with five goals scored. In the ranks of Tías, Keyla Hernández has been the most successful this Saturday with eight goals, well accompanied in attack by Vesi Nenkova and Rosa Álvarez, with six goals each.
The coach of CB Lanzarote Puerto del Carmen, Miguel Ángel Lemes, explained after the match in Palencia that "it was a controlled match from the beginning, although the missed shots prevented us from taking off on the scoreboard until well into the first half. We achieved a solid defense and good contribution from the goal. In the second half we started with a 0-4 partial that definitively broke the match. In short, good sensations. We continue to grow and we already have the contribution of more players. We still have a lot to improve but I think we will arrive well at the end of this first round, with the aim of not losing any points in this section of the competition", concluded the coach from Tías.
In the tenth matchday of the league of group A of the Women's Silver Honor Division, CB Lanzarote Puerto del Carmen will receive SAR Rodavigo, a match that will be played on Saturday, November 16, at 8:00 p.m. in the Municipal Pavilion of Tías.
