Next Friday, August 22, Raúl Sancho Manso will take office as a career civil servant at the Border Inspection Post (BIP) of Lanzarote, as a new inspector. This was reported by the Island Directorate of the General State Administration in Lanzarote in a press release.
The representation of the Government of Spain on the island states that the appointment "is an important step to reinforce the operational and control capacity of the BIP", an essential service to guarantee safety, compliance with health and phytosanitary regulations, and the correct development of economic activity linked to the transit of goods.
The Government of Spain defends "its firm commitment" to providing qualified human resources in Lanzarote, thus ensuring "an effective management adapted to the needs of the island and the entire Canary Archipelago."
The appointment has the support of the senator for Lanzarote and La Graciosa, Manuel Fajardo, and the national deputy Loli Corujo, who have expressed their express support for this strengthening of the service, highlighting the strategic importance of the BIP for the economic development and health protection of the island.
The island director of the General State Administration in Lanzarote, Pedro Viera, emphasizes that this incorporation consolidates a continuous effort to guarantee that the BIP has stable and highly qualified personnel, in line with the priorities of the central government in terms of border control and protection of citizens.
