The bodybuilder, Mikel Carrasco, participated last weekend in the WABBA Spanish Bodybuilding Championship, in the Caja Blanca, Roda (Albacete), where he won the bronze medal in the Classic Bodybuilding category, and two fifth places in the Classic Physique and Mens Physique categories.
Maikel, thanks to his third place, has managed to enter the team that will present the Spanish bodybuilding team at the World Championship of WABBA Bodybuilding to be held next Saturday, June 17, in Zvolen (Slovakia).
"I spent three years unable to train due to an operation, until I decided to resume competitions again," he confesses. "It's what I'm passionate about and what fulfills me," he reveals.
Therefore, for the National Championship "I prepared without expectations, just to enjoy what I liked," he points out. "The feedback from the National competition was strange, but even so, competing with people who were 20 kilos heavier than me, I managed to qualify," he mentions.
For this World Championship, "I am in Slovakia and I am coming with a lot of enthusiasm and excitement," he makes clear. "Here we can do something very big", concludes the bodybuilder.
