The Lanzarote trainer Alejandro Morín will participate with the Spanish team in the German Shepherd World Obedience Championship WUSV Universal Sieger 2019, which will be held from June 7 to 9 in the town of Nantwich (England), and which will consist of three tests: tracking, obedience and protection.
Morín has been selected after his ninth place, out of a total of 47 participants, in the XXXI National Working Dog Championship of the German Shepherd held the last weekend of March in Valdemoro (Madrid), organized by the Real Spanish German Shepherd Dog Club (Real CEPPA)
Previously, the Lanzarote trainer had been proclaimed champion of the Canary Islands for the sixth consecutive time by winning the VII IPO Obedience Qualifying Selective of the German Shepherd Dog, held on March 2 and 3 in Tenerife, a test he attended as in the National Championship with his four-year-old dog Him de Parayas, whom he has been training since he was a puppy and who repeated the title after the one he achieved last year in his first participation with this dog in the Selective.
Alejandro Morín became the first Canary Islands trainer to participate in a World Championship (held in 2008 in Cincinnati, USA) as a member of the Spanish team.
