UD Lanzarote is working towards the 2013-2014 season, both in the first team and in the rest of the teams that are part of the club's lower categories. Adolfo Pérez has renewed his link with UD Lanzarote, sealing an agreement between the parties for the next two seasons and Adolfo Pérez assuming the management of the sports management of the UD Lanzarote base. Adolfo Pérez will be accompanied in the sports management by Echedey Rodríguez, who will assume the functions of coordinator of the base. For their part, Eugenio Rojido and Paulino Guedes, join the technical structure of UD Lanzarote, assuming different functions in the lower categories of the club.
Adolfo Pérez and UD Lanzarote have reached an agreement to extend the coach's link for the next two seasons, with the aim of consolidating a project in which work with the youth team will be fundamental. With the agreement reached and signed by both parties, Adolfo Pérez will be the coach of the first team for the next two seasons and will assume the functions of sports director of the UD Lanzarote base. Adolfo will be the maximum responsible for the technical side of all the teams that make up the lower categories of UD Lanzarote.
Echedey Rodríguez Cáceres will also be in the technical area of UD Lanzarote. The one who was the coach of the Cadet "B" team of UD Lanzarote last season, will assume the coordination of the base of UD Lanzarote and will be the coach of the youth team that plays in the Preferred Youth category. Echedey has renewed his link with UD Lanzarote for the next two seasons, also assuming the functions of assistant coach in the first team's training sessions.
Eugenio Rojido and Paulino Guedes join the technical structure of UD Lanzarote in the lower categories and both return to the rojilla discipline to which they have belonged in previous stages. Eugenio Rojido will be part of the technification and improvement area, and Paulino Guedes will be in charge of the Municipal Football School of UD Lanzarote, which is made up of players from the pre-benjamín category. Fernando Granados is another of the coaches who is already confirmed in the base of UD Lanzarote, being responsible for the sports side of the cadet team.
UD Lanzarote wants to thank the work that has been carried out by the people who have belonged to the lower categories in the last three seasons and positively value the work they have done. A work led by Santi Torres, responsible in these last campaigns of the base of UD Lanzarote, to whom the work done is thanked. UD Lanzarote understands that a change in the work philosophy is necessary and continue betting on the formation of youth players that supply players to the first team.
Once the technical side is closed, work is being done on the preparation of the squad that UD Lanzarote will have next season in the Third Division. The first conversations have already taken place with the players of the past season with whom they are counting on for the new project and negotiations have been initiated with the players who are interested in joining the team. In principle, the preseason training sessions of UD Lanzarote will begin on Monday, July 29 and the work will not be able to be carried out in the Ciudad Deportiva Lanzarote, as these facilities are under construction to replace the synthetic turf.
