Firefighters intervened this Saturday in an accident between two cars in which one of them ended up overturning on the LZ-20, near Mozaga, according to the Emergency Consortium.
Alerted by CECOES about a traffic accident, the personnel moved to the site with a vehicle. Near the area, a firefighter was present with vehicle Romeo 5 (4x4 vehicle).
Before arriving at the scene, the fire department dispatch informed that the occupants were outside the vehicles. Upon arrival, one of the cars was on its wheels, in the middle of the road and with no occupants inside, while the other vehicle was overturned on its roof, off the road, and its occupants were outside of it.
Firefighters proceeded to secure the area and attend to those affected. They placed cones and directed traffic. At the same time, a nurse on duty attended to the occupants of one of the vehicles. The occupant of the second car did not require medical assistance.
Subsequently, a basic ambulance from the SUC arrived, which took charge of the assistance and subsequent transfer of the occupants of one of the vehicles. Upon the arrival of the Traffic Civil Guard agents, they requested the firefighters to turn one of the cars around. Likewise, they disconnected the battery.
A Traffic Civil Guard agent removed one of the vehicles and, once it was off the road, the personnel moved said car.
