Adolfo Pérez, the top technical manager of Unión Deportiva Lanzarote, said this Friday that the conejero team "already deserves to win away from home again", so he was "especially hopeful" that they can achieve it this day.

"We are visiting a strong subsidiary, as Atlético de Madrid B has just won against Rayo in Vallecas, which is quite meritorious. The objective will not be easy, but considering the performance we have had lately, we must be optimistic," he argued.

Pérez admitted that a triumph in the capital of Spain "would have tremendous value", as it would allow Lanzarote to reach the winter break with 25 points, a figure that he considers "spectacular" in order to achieve the goal of permanence.

"We go step by step, which is the key to success, and the first goal is to try to win or, at least, score against Atlético B. We hope this will be the case, as it would make the great victory on Sunday with Leganés good," he added.

Goalkeeper Marino, still recovering from his torn fibers, and midfielder José Lanza, sanctioned, will not be able to be part of the island expedition.

The Atlético de Madrid B-Lanzarote match will be played on Sunday, from 11.30 (Canarian time) in Cerro del Espino, with the arbitration of Goyanes López (Galician Committee).
