A very wide range of considerations and proposals for an important moment? What it is about and what is needed now is to contribute from loyalty to our voters, and from loyalty, as it cannot be otherwise, to the government, or what is the same, we must ALL row in the same direction. Coalición Canaria presented this Monday 120 measures embodied in a single plan, all of them far-reaching, and with a critical eye I can say that I consider that they are up to this difficult situation, they are real solutions to real situations.
Fleeing from the typical grandiloquent definitions that usually frame a Social Action Plan or Social Rescue Plan for them; what this document shows is that it really contemplates many measures for people and to lend a hand, which is what is needed now. Because it is now when we have to show our DNA, our commitment to our people with a more municipalist approach if possible, and study the measures according to the needs analyzed with great dedication. Economic measures that, once implemented, will allow that this time it will not be the same people as always who have to pay the piper, who have to? AGAIN.
The complement to the non-contributory minimum income, equating it with the minimum wage for a period of 2 years. The basic citizen income, not conditioned only to the state of alarm, granted with the diligence that allows not to put in danger of exclusion the one who requests it nor their families. The bonus of 50% of the IRPF in the years 2020-2021. Suspension of the payment of mortgages for people who lose their jobs or are part of an ERTE, or are forced to stop their activity. Bonus of 100% of the fee of self-employed companies of less than 10 employees until the confinement is completely lifted and a bonus of 50% for the months after are only some, which as I say, shows that they are measures thought out and with the ultimate goal of lending a hand with our people without delay.
Among the proposals, as I say 120, I would also like to point out the creation of a table of understanding between councils and town councils, Cáritas, Cruz Roja and NGOs, which would allow, among many other things, the possibility of combining experience with means and professionalism, and thus make the distribution considered immediate and the aid effective, since immediacy and effectiveness, misunderstood, sometimes lead to problems that are difficult to solve, or terrible situations such as, what do I do with the purchase today?
In this proposed plan, in my opinion, a point that I consider of capital importance stands out with its own brilliance and offers the best of weapons to face an uncertain future in the labor field as well: The increase of funds for Professional Training in Lanzarote, a need that I have raised for some time in the Parliament, and that in a certain measure would come to give answer to a collective demand among our young people and not so young. A demand that pivots between the amount of subjects to choose, which clearly has to be wider and more adequate, to the existing labor reality, and to the accessibility to that formation. I think it is the right time to raise it and build together a future with less uncertainties in the labor field. Entrepreneurship can be the key, the key to innovate in markets that seem exhausted, but offer magnificent opportunities to create micro-economies with which to maintain our families and get to increase the quotas of quality of life of our people. Perhaps considering the lifestyle is a question that we have to adopt TOGETHER if we want everything to go better and not get back to the starting point of all the problems we now suffer.
