The City Council chaired by Óscar Noda published this Wednesday on the public sector contracting platform the tender for the complete renovation of the playground located in the El Rincón area of the town of Yaiza, with combined games and a shaded area, and the implementation of a multi-sports court in this same location with a base bidding budget of 975,000 euros of municipal resources. Interested companies can submit offers until February 7, 2025.
Óscar Noda emphasizes that "we are recovering a new space destined for family leisure within the program of renovation and implementation of inclusive playgrounds, a project that completes other initiatives already executed in El Rincón such as street paving, signage and complementary works of lighting canalizations, electricity and telecommunications distribution, in addition to drinking water distribution pipes purchased and replaced by the City Council with the respective verifications by Canal Gestión."
With this commission, Yaiza gives continuity to the actions in 24 playgrounds in different locations of the municipality, "considering citizen participation through opinion polls that are part of the creation of a technical guide to improve and advance in the program of implementation of inclusive playgrounds", recalls the Councilor of the Area, Rubén Arca.
Universal accessibility, variety of games, safety and comfort, are key criteria in the design and execution of projects of areas destined for children's leisure in Yaiza. "The City Council enjoys good economic and financial health and it should be reflected in the execution of new citizen welfare projects", concludes the mayor.
