After the performance of the Coral Encounter in the Church of San Roque, within the Christmas program organized by the City Council of Tinajo, the I Gastronomic Encounter took place in the Social Hall of the town. With the participation of more than a hundred people, the public enjoyed typical products of Italian cuisine in a tasting prepared by the renowned Italian chef Francesco Scimone.
The success of the meeting culminated with the spontaneous performance of the Tinajo Choir, which performed songs from the Italian repertoire.
The event was attended by the mayor of Tinajo, Jesus Machín, the president of the Association of Italian Friends of Lanzarote, Alfonso Licata, and the councilor of the area, Juan Rodríguez, among others.
