The City Council of Tías informs of the new disinfection, disinfestation and sanitization campaign that will take place in the municipality starting next week. The work in the sewage system to disinfect and prevent pests will begin on Monday, March 20, in Puerto del Carmen, where work will be carried out in zones for several days.
The Councilor for the Protection of Public Health, Laura Callero, points out that the City Council carries out a periodic disinfection program in the municipal area to minimize the risk to public health posed by the presence of disease vectors and other fauna with possible health repercussions.
Laura Callero clarifies that, in addition to municipal responsibility, "we have individual responsibility, so I thank the residents who collaborate by reporting vulnerable points and who keep their properties clean, while also properly managing domestic waste by always depositing it inside the corresponding containers."
The new disinfection, disinfestation and sanitization campaign will begin on Monday at 6:00 a.m. on Avenida de las Playas in Puerto del Carmen. In this tourist town, work will be carried out in zones until Thursday.
For Friday, March 24, it has been planned to intervene in the center of Tías town and in the school area to continue from March 27 through the rest of the streets of the municipality including the towns: Conil, Masdache, Mácher, Mácher, La Asomada and Tegoyo.
