The Tías City Council has announced the receipt of 197,000 euros in subsidies for 10 groups, an amount that is in addition to the 206,000 euros received in early May by other entities with the aim of helping them develop projects in the municipality.
This block of nominated subsidies, which are subject to the execution of defined projects and the provision of original invoices and the statement of expenses, includes the entities Aporta, Re+Flota, Nino Díaz Foundation, Naora, Boluntis, the Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria parish, Tedala, Generación Emergente, Mujeres de Antes y Ahora and Flora Acoge Foundation.
The subsidies recently received correspond to the cultural association Aporta, which receives 45,000 euros to develop the project "Contributing community intervention in Tías 2022", while the entity Re+Flota receives 30,000 euros to execute the project "Re+Flota pilot farm" and the Nino Díaz Foundation 30,000 euros for Class_Ikk Lanzarote.
The cultural association Naora receives 20,000 euros for its project "Tías active people", the association of volunteer firefighters of Tías Boluntis receives 18,000 euros to execute the project "Heading towards a safer municipality" and the Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria parish obtains 17,000 euros with the "Comprehensive Care Service for the population in a situation of vulnerability and/or social exclusion of the municipality of Tías".
The cultural association teatro danza Lanzarote Tedala receives 12,000 euros to develop the project "In a place of time", the cultural and youth association Generación Emergente receives 10,000 euros for the "Network of values for positive coexistence II and solidarity wardrobe, families in action 2022", the association of social, educational, cultural and ideological action Mujeres de Antes y Ahora obtains 10,000 euros for the project "Living positively, promotion for quality of life, self-care and accompaniment 2022" and the Flora Acoge Foundation receives 5,000 euros for the "Flora Guadalupe Toledo shelter home".
