The Tías City Council will take to plenary session this Tuesday the approval of the regulatory ordinance of street or non-sedentary sales in the municipality, after its public exhibition and the rejection of the allegations presented, which were not sustained taking into account its content.
The City Council explains that the ordinance contains 24 articles that give structure, coordination and adjustment to the norm of the exercise of street or non-sedentary sales. It is a generic document with five chapters that deal with General Provisions, Organization and requirements for exercise, Authorization regime for non-sedentary sales, Inspection, control and precautionary measures and Sanctioning regime.
The modalities of street vending reflected in the ordinance are non-sedentary sales in fixed markets, non-sedentary sales in periodic markets, non-sedentary sales in occasional markets, non-sedentary sales of seasonal products in places installed on public roads and non-sedentary sales through vehicle-shops.
The mayor of Tías, José Juan Cruz, and the Councilor for Commerce, Kalinda Pérez, recall that the City Council will later establish the location areas, schedules, number and dimensions, in addition to the products for sale and authorizations.
