The Tías City Council has opened a consultative process to ask residents in the municipality about the future use of the La Tiñosa fish market facilities. The survey can be done on the website www.ayuntamientodetias.es and will be published from this Tuesday, October 29, until November 12.
The consistory recalls that the La Tiñosa fish market is a historic building that, after the intervention of the City Council, will become part of the facilities that can be enjoyed by citizens. The objective of this consultation is to know what public destination will be given to this space.
The survey states that "the City Council is working on a remodeling project for La Lonja de La Tiñosa and wants to know the opinion of residents on the use of this space. Your opinion is important to decide the future of this place.”
The questions, with simple yes or no answers, are as follows: Are you in favor of the City Council consulting citizens about the use of the space? Would you like it to be a recreational space (for recreational and leisure activities)? Would you prefer it to be a multipurpose space, where cultural, heritage and ethnographic activities can be carried out? Would you like the space to be dedicated to environmental dissemination and marine biodiversity? Would you like La Lonja de La Tiñosa to be a museum dedicated to fishing and the sea?
