The Tinajo Renovation Movement has started its electoral journey to try to achieve the Mayor's Office "with the support and confidence of all its residents." Thus, this Tuesday they visited the Cultural Center of Mancha Blanca and on Wednesday they met at the Local Center of El Cuchillo, where they presented their proposal "for a new Tinajo, a complete electoral program that aims to restore hope to the municipality after years of shortcomings and lack of social cohesion."
With the campaign "And what about us?", the leader of the new party in Tinajo, Antonio Morales, wants to highlight the "abandonment" of social policies in the municipality. According to the party, children, young people, women, men, the elderly, and even pets, star in this campaign in which reference is also made "to the scarce or non-existent ideas and management in tourism, commerce, or social welfare."

"The new Tinajo that we want, we have to build it together, and as a first step there is the creation of different working groups, which will be the advisory bodies of the new government of our town hall. And this will be complemented with periodic meetings in all the payments of the municipality, with representation of all the productive sectors and putting families first," said Antonio Morales.
"We have to explore new formulas to accelerate the economic and social development of Tinajo and success will depend to a large extent on the participation of all, which, properly coordinated, will become the true engine of change. Nor are we going to ignore the realities and urgent issues that need immediate solution, such as the maintenance of infrastructure (roads, sidewalks, accessibility, maintenance of gardens, municipal lighting, etc.)," he added.
Recover spaces and activities for the elderly and young people
According to Morales, the elderly and young people will be a priority for the Tinajo Renovation Movement "with the recovery of spaces and activities," as well as "promoting the primary sector trying to achieve in the medium term to turn Tinajo into the first municipality in the Canary Islands free of phytosanitary products or that is an example of integration of companion animals."

All these aspects and many others are included in the electoral proposal of the Tinajo Renovation Movement that Antonio Morales and his team claim to be transferring door to door to all residents, in order to "listen to their problems and concerns."
