Framed in the different works of conditioning and improvement of the sociocultural centers of the municipality promoted by the government group of the City Council of Tías, formed by PSOE, Lanzarote Avanza (LAVA) and Lanzarote en Pie-Sí Podemos, these days is being culminating the adaptation of the Los Lirios sociocultural center.
The mayor, José Juan Cruz, visited the center together with the second deputy mayor, Nicolás Saavedra, and the councilor of Culture, Pepa González, to supervise the state of the works, which are practically finished and pending the last touches.
The actions carried out in the Los Lirios sociocultural center consisted of emptying and cleaning the facilities to execute maintenance work on structures and repair of columns, restoration of ceilings, adaptation of electricity, painting and placement of led lighting and identification sign.
The councilors, in their visit to the hall and the meeting room, expressed their satisfaction with the result of the works, mostly executed by workers from the Roads and Works area and also by student-workers from the PFAEs of the City Council.
