The socialist group of Tías has shown its concern about the contradictions of the Government Group with respect to the opening to the public of the Tegoyo picnic area. According to the complaint, "the lack of control and the null management criteria have meant that one of the most emblematic spaces of the municipality has been "closed" to the public for months".

In the last Ordinary Plenary Session held last Tuesday, June 12, we registered a question at the request of the citizens: "Is the Tegoyo picnic area open and available for public use?" The Government's response was: "No, until the planned works are carried out." "Which surprises us, since we have not seen any work being carried out and it is not observed that it will be carried out soon, we are in the summer season and the neighbors request to use said leisure area and they cannot," adds Kalinda Pérez.

"For the moment, Pancho Hernández continues to be oblivious to the real needs of the citizens" and "this municipality deserves spaces for leisure and recreation that are managed through the Public Administration," they add.

The socialist group adds that "Tías lacks a sustainable and efficient growth plan", and that "the current government lacks coordination among them". The fact that the Tegoyo picnic area is not open at this time of year is proof of this.
