The socialist candidates of Lanzarote meet with the taxi sector

Dolores Corujo has reiterated the PSOE's commitment to "be close to the professionals in the sector"

The general secretary of the PSOE of Lanzarote and candidate for re-election in the Cabildo of Lanzarote, María Dolores Corujo, met this week with taxi drivers from Arrecife, Tías and San Bartolomé with the aim of "listening to their demands and needs and thus facing the great challenges that the sector has ahead".

The socialist candidate for the presidency of the Cabildo highlighted the work carried out every day by the taxi sector in Lanzarote and the importance of working in coordination to improve the
service they provide. "I appreciate the presence of the professionals to whom we extend our hand and, through consensus, we will continue listening to their demands to give them the response they deserve, since it is a fundamental sector on the island that we must take care of and whose work we must value," she stressed in a press release.

Knowing how to listen and seeking consensus

Dolores Corujo has reiterated the PSOE's commitment to "be close to the professionals in the sector" and "continue working hand in hand to provide answers to the problems of the taxi". In the opinion of the candidate to repeat as president of the Cabildo, "knowing how to listen, debate and the constant search for agreement and consensus are our hallmarks with which we work to satisfy demands and find effective solutions to problems".

The meetings took place in the Maneje Cooperative, in Arrecife, and in the Casa Ajei of San Bartolomé, which she attended accompanied by the socialist candidates for the mayoralties of these three municipalities: Alfredo Mendoza (Arrecife), Isidro Pérez (San Bartolomé) and José Juan Cruz Saavedra (Tías).
