The PSOE has published a manifesto in support of the socialist candidacies for the elections on July 23.

The manifesto is as follows:

"During the government of Pedro Sánchez we have built the best Spain. The one that protects the most vulnerable people and the one that grows day by day in rights and freedoms.

The best Spain is the one that has raised the minimum wage by 40% and the one that has revalued pensions above the CPI, bringing scholarships that equalize us in opportunities to more than 2.5 billion euros.

On July 23 we are going to decide in which Spain we want to live and we will have to choose between moving forward or backward.

Move forward by voting for the PSOE to continue growing and creating employment, to defend the rights of workers, women, LGTBI people, to protect the environment, to bet on science and culture, to build an integrated, plural and diverse society.

Or go backwards with a government of Feijóo and Abascal that puts economic growth at risk, that cuts rights and freedoms, denialist of climate change and gender violence. The alliance of the right and the far right that censors culture and degrades coexistence with the permanent recourse to hate speech.

Those of us who make municipal politics the axis of our vocation for public service know that our capacity to meet the demands of our people depends entirely on the political and budgetary guidelines that emanate from the Government of Spain and its Cortes Generales.

We suffered in their day the policies of excessive cuts of the government of the Popular Party, which put at risk, and even forced to suppress, basic services that are the reason for being of the city councils.

Thanks to the Government of Spain, with Pedro Sánchez as president, and despite the enormous difficulties of this legislature, we have managed to recover and improve our levels of service provision and our investment capacity, so we are convinced that what is most convenient for our municipalities, for all Spaniards, Canarians and Lanzaroteños, is that Spain once again enjoys a government of the Socialist Party, headed by Pedro Sánchez.

From that conviction, we ask for the vote for the list to the Congress of Deputies, headed by María Dolores Corujo, and to the candidacy of Manuel Fajardo to the Senate.

We make a call to the progressive electorate so that, in addition to supporting the candidacies of the Socialist Party with their vote, they mobilize their families and neighbors, their friends and co-workers to continue building the best Spain, to continue moving forward, because with the PSOE Spain advances".
