The PSOE in the Tinajo City Council denounces that the Government Group "avoids improving the lighting and sidewalks of the municipality", alleging that they are "working on it, and waiting for a Mobility Plan that does not arrive."
The municipal group presented several motions in the last plenary session requesting "a comprehensive and technical study of the situation of the sidewalks of the municipality, given their poor condition and the lack of accessibility for people with reduced mobility."
It also demanded the elaboration "of a map of safe public lighting", since it affirms that the municipality "has scarce and deficient lighting on public roads, which poses a danger to drivers and pedestrians."
The socialists of Teguise point out that it is "quite surprising that the government group of Coalición Canaria voted against them", since they point out that the mayor of Tinajo, Jesús Machín, "had argued that he agreed with them."
Finally, the PSOE of Tinajo highlights that "the motion presented by the Socialist Group regarding the commitment to equality and the rights of LGTBI people was approved, promoting awareness and information campaigns on the reality of people belonging to this group."
