The PSOE of Lanzarote has congratulated Pedro Viera Espinosa, after taking office as island director of the Public Administration this morning.
María Dolores Corujo, general secretary of the PSOE of Lanzarote and current socialist deputy in Congress, conveyed her "sincere congratulations and pride of the socialists of Lanzarote", stressing that Viera is "an example of a good socialist by vocation and a great defender of public service."
A group of colleagues from the PSOE of Lanzarote also attended the inauguration to support the new island director, including the organization secretary and mayor of Tías, José Juan Cruz Saavedra; the spokesperson for the Socialist Group in the Cabildo, Ariagona González; the mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez; the mayor of Haría, Alfredo Villalba; the regional deputy Lucía Olga Tejera and the general secretary of the socialist group from Arrecife and councilor of the Arrecife City Council, Alfredo Mendoza Camacho, who wished Viera the best and predicted a "stage full of projects and very positive achievements for all the people of Lanzarote."
