The PSOE denounces that the Agroindustrial Complex has become "a dump"

The socialists are asking the mayor of Teguise for explanations: "The CC government group demands that citizens behave civilly with their belongings and at the same time proceeds in an aberrant way," they point out.

The PSOE of Teguise will demand explanations from Oswaldo Betancort for the state of a section of the Agroindustrial Complex of Teguise, "which has become a dump for months due to the inaction, complicity or authorship of the municipal government."

"Two rickety basketball boards, some pallets, a toilet, a clothesline, a ventorrillo table, some smelly mattresses, some pipes, a broken municipal container, and a mammoth metal structure that looks like a Mad Max ship" are part of the "amazing picture" with which the socialists claim that their councilor, Jenifer Galán, came across in a section of the Agroindustrial Complex of Teguise.

“We went to check it out thinking it had to be a mistake. How was the City Council going to throw rubble and all kinds of belongings into a space of public ownership?”, says the mayor.

According to the PSOE of Teguise, "the question is not trivial at all." “The municipal government does well to raise awareness among the population so that they proceed responsibly with their belongings and make use of municipal services. However, what will that same citizenship think when they see that whoever demands exemplary behavior acts as they please?”, says Jenifer Galán.

They ask if the rubble and belongings are municipal property

Specifically, the socialists of Teguise want to know "if that rubble and belongings are municipal property", as well as "who gave the order for their deposit in a section of the Agroindustrial Complex of Teguise" and "the reasons why such a crazy decision was made."

"And the most important thing we want to know is how long it will take to proceed to transfer these belongings to where they belong, that is, to the Zonzamas Environmental Complex, and to publicly apologize to the citizens of Teguise," adds the PSOE of Teguise.

While waiting to have the answers to these questions, Jenifer Galán wanted to remind Oswaldo Betancort "a basic question that should be applied in these difficult times that we are living." "It is essential that public servants lead by example in the face of the continuous efforts that we are demanding of citizens," concludes the PSOE councilor in Teguise.
