The plenary session of the San Bartolomé City Council will hold an ordinary session this Wednesday in which a single motion will be debated, and which is related to the auditor of that municipal corporation. The initiative was presented by the PSOE and requests that the mayor, Miguel Martín, carry out all the necessary administrative procedures to replace the auditor, after he submitted his resignation.

Carlos Sáez resigned as auditor of the San Bartolomé City Council more than a month ago, "but the mayor has not yet brought it to the attention of the plenary session nor has he taken the necessary steps to appoint his replacement", explained the socialist councilor Antonio Rocío, who linked Sáez's resignation to the situation created around the private company that is in charge of the municipal tax collection, and whose contract has "defects of nullity", according to what was learned through a report from the Corporation's secretary in the last plenary session.

Specifically, the PSOE's motion requests that the plenary session be informed of the auditor's resignation, that it be ratified, that the mayor address the Ministry of Public Administrations to appoint his replacement, and that in the meantime someone be appointed to perform those functions on an interim basis.
