"With total normality and unanimity". This is how Manuel Fajardo, secretary of the PSOE Island Executive, described the extraordinary session organized by his party to create the list committee. This internal body of the formation will monitor that the process of selection and conformation of candidates to the electoral lists is produced in accordance with the statutes of the party. "That is to say, that the lists are paritarian, that 60% of men or women are not exceeded in them, that the Assembly takes place in time or that all the candidacies comply with the requirements", explained the secretary of the Island Executive.
In total, there are nine people who will be in charge of being part of this committee. "I have personally wanted that within these members are represented all the municipalities and also some important areas such as that of women", Manuel Fajardo assured.
In this list committee are the regional parliamentarian, Olivia Cedrés, the mayor of Tías, José Juan Cruz, Delia Hernández, representing Teguise, and the Minister of Territorial Policy of the Cabildo, Carlos Espino, among others.
