The Socialist Party and the Canarian Coalition have rejected in the Parliament of the Canary Islands the remodeling of the Insular Hospital of Lanzarote and the creation of a health center in Tinajo. These proposals had been approved at the Insular Health Board with the support of both parties, but the votes against the socialists and nationalists have left them out of the general budgets of the Autonomous Community.
A vote that has been criticized by the PIL, since it considers it incoherent that they vote against the commitment they made at the Cabildo's Health Board, for "not being able to say the same thing on our island and where they represent it." The amendments were presented by the PIL, but they failed to enter the items of the general budgets of the Autonomous Community.
"We regret the attitude of the defectors from our party." With these words they have referred especially to the nationalist party, which also voted against amendments aimed at "facilitating access to housing" and which, according to the PIL, has as an explanation "the submission of CC to ATI".
