The National Police of Arrecife incorporates 17 new agents to the staff

The PSOE of Lanzarote has celebrated the incorporation of a total of 17 new police officers, made up of 10 men and 7 women, to the Arrecife Police Station, which practically completes the Catalog of Job Positions of this body in the city. This new police endowment will significantly contribute to improving citizen security in Arrecife, whose police station is one of the most efficient in the Canary Islands, with an outstanding rate of crime solving of 75%, the highest in the archipelago.

The official reception of the new agents was in charge of the Insular Director of the General State Administration, Pedro Viera, who expressed "his satisfaction for the reinforcement that will allow optimizing the operational capacity of the police station and guaranteeing greater protection for the citizens." "With the incorporation of these 17 agents, we are taking an important step to ensure a greater police presence in the city and reinforce prevention efforts and response to crimes, consolidating Arrecife as a benchmark in security within the archipelago," Viera said.

The incorporation of these new troops represents an improvement in the capacity of action of the police in key areas of the city and its surroundings, allowing a greater deployment in operations and improving the service to the citizens. In addition, the reinforcement comes at a crucial moment to maintain the effectiveness of the police station, whose work has been decisive in achieving the high levels of case resolution in the criminal field.

With this new expansion of the staff, the Government of Spain reiterates its commitment to public safety and the protection of the welfare of its inhabitants.
