The Housing Office of the Teguise City Council, which was inaugurated at the beginning of the month, will move from this Tuesday, July 27, to the municipal offices in Costa Teguise, from 09:00 to 13:00, every Tuesday. Thus, on Tuesdays it will only be open in Costa Teguise and the rest of the days in La Villa.
The Councilor for Social Welfare of the Consistory, Marisol Armas, explained that this is "to improve assistance", since "Costa Teguise is an important population center and we want to bring attention closer to the citizen".
The official headquarters will remain in La Villa in the Social Affairs building (next to the Local Police of Teguise). This service, among other functions, allows processing the documentation to acquire or rent housing with the financial aid of the regional Executive. It also offers information to island businessmen about the economic advantages they would have if they hand over their residences for rent.
