In that time slot, the bus will access via San Juan street and will make a stop in the Guardia Civil area, in Cuesta del Pozo, enabled for loading and unloading of passengers.

The resolution establishes that the concessionaire company must have a high-capacity vehicle to guarantee the safety and comfort of attendees, as well as have another additional vehicle available if necessary.

Likewise, the City Council must have the presence of Local Police to coordinate the operation and guarantee order in the face of any incident.

Zone of Joint Provision of taxis

On the other hand, the Cabildo de Lanzarote has established a Joint Taxi Service Zone for the celebration of the Haría Carnival, which will take place in the early hours of Sunday, March 1, from 00:00 to 06:00 hours (from Saturday, February 28 to Sunday, March 1).

The measure seeks to meet the high demand for taxis during the event, which will include a Carnival Parade and a popular street party in Haría Square. In case there are no taxis available in the municipality, vehicles from other municipalities may be requested through the corresponding control centers.

Only taxis with the mandatory Insular Authorization will be able to provide service. The resolution has been notified to the municipalities of Lanzarote and to the main taxi cooperatives on the island, thus attempting to guarantee sufficient and safe transport for users.
