The island director of the General State Administration in Lanzarote celebrates the arrival in Arrecife of #ExperienciaINCIBE, an initiative of the National Cybersecurity Institute of Spain (INCIBE), an entity dependent on the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Function, through the Secretary of State for Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructures.
This project, financed by the European Union through the Next Generation funds of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, aims to bring cybersecurity closer to all citizens through training and recreational activities.
The roadshow, a deployable truck that travels throughout Spain, has been located this weekend in the parking area next to the Puerto del Arrecife Football Field, attached to the municipal swimming pools. Thus, it has offered attendees an interactive experience with escape room areas, online games, training pills and a 017 cabin, INCIBE's 'Your Help in Cybersecurity' service.
The island director emphasizes that this initiative of the Government of Spain promotes "a culture of accessible and inclusive cybersecurity." "In an increasingly digitalized world, it is essential that all citizens, regardless of their age or level of knowledge, are trained to navigate the network safely," he says.
In addition, he highlights the collaboration between the different administrations to carry out this project. "The coordination between the Government of Spain, through INCIBE, and public institutions demonstrates the importance of working together to protect citizens in the digital sphere," he says.
The #ExperienciaINCIBE roadshow is a unique opportunity for the inhabitants of Lanzarote to acquire knowledge and practical tools to protect themselves in the digital environment. The island director invites the entire population to participate in this free activity.
