The project for the conditioning, renovation and improvement of the energy efficiency of several control centers of the lighting of La Asomada, in the municipality of Tías, has been put on public display, as announced by the Cabildo of Lanzarote this Friday.
The president of the Cabildo, María Dolores Corujo, explains that the actions have an item of 1.9 million euros, financed by FDCAN funds, and its objective "is to maximize energy savings and contribute to reducing the problem of light pollution in various nuclei of the Island".
In this way, the works "aim to renovate the public lighting installations, providing them with new elements with advanced technology and greater possibilities to enhance energy efficiency, in addition to a pleasant night visual environment, while providing the necessary visibility and safety to vehicles and the population".
The execution period of the works will be six months from the beginning of the same. Interested companies can submit their offers on the State Procurement Platform until May 24, at 9:00 am.
